Brady Ruffin, Director of Policy and Research
Brady Ruffin is Director of Research and Policy at Cooley Public Strategies. With experience in data analysis, field research methods, and grassroots community engagement, Ruffin will lead research projects in support of public policy objectives. This work will include intelligence-gathering, economic impact and budget analysis, issue analysis, media monitoring, oversight of external contractors, and other research-related activities. Ruffin has experience working with nonprofits and NGOs in the Nashville, Washington, D.C., and Little Rock, Ark. area. He was part of a statewide 2018 Mississippi senate race and has worked heavily with community engagement and youth empowerment in the Mississippi Delta. A native of Mississippi, Ruffin graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications and a Master of Public Service from the Clinton School of Public Service at the University of Arkansas.
